I cannot thank Jamie and this company enough for their prompt response and support!! I received several text messages over the space of 4 months from a company (DCS Solar) saying that the warranty on my solar panels had expired. I ignored the texts as I thought they were a scam. I then received a phone call from a company called RES (Renewable Services) saying that my solar was required to have a system check. He made all the right noises, and had a website that seemed to check out. Someone was sent around the next day to check out the system, and told me that the voltage going into the inverter ( which was changed about 6 months ago) was too high, and that I would need to have a voltage regulator unit fitted and that he wouldn't fail the system if it got sorted in the next 6 months. I contacted RES yesterday and made arrangements for a having a voltage regulator fitted by the originsl person who had visited the first time (Reece). I was quoted a price of £2700. Something just wasn't sitting well with my spirit about the whole thing, and on checking online the price of a voltage regulator didn't even run into 2 digits. After been told by Reece that the this regulator needed to be fitted by a MCS certified installer, I started to research the company and could not find it anywhere on the MCS website. I thought let me check a few more companies to get some other quotes. When I rang EB Solar Ltd, they immediately alerted me that this was a scam!! They offered to come around and check out my system. Within 10 minutes, Jamie came around and said the system was running fine. EB Solar did not charge me even a call out fee to check out my system, and for that I will be eternally grateful for their kindness and saving me a lot of money!! Thank you so much!! Evelyn

i chose a local business for my solar installation, found EB solar and checked them out they seemed a good company. requested a quote and Kevin kindly came out, talked about my needs although my total useage wasnt easy to meet,as i use ALOT of electricity . the system he suggested came fairly close, the install was finished today, still waiting to see its full capabilities but so far so good. Kevin came out to me twice to discuss the work and answer my questions. The install team did an excellent job and the finished install looks great. My system was alot bigger than most domestic installs, 15Kw and 33 panels total + battery. all the team were very knowledgeable and skilled i had no doubts in i would get a good system.the quality of the panels and electrics are excellent. The system controls seem pretty easy and the phone app shows everything you need to know what the system is upto. I highly recommend EB solar if you are local Mk, if i need any upgrades to my new system or an EV point i will definately be coming back to them for the work. From exceptance to completion about 3 weeks so quick service aswell. My thanks to the whole team @EB.

EB Solar deserve 5 stars and I'd recommend without hesitation for knowledge, advice, price and installation. Approved installers for Octopus Energy and experts on all roof types. They have tons of experience and confidently explained what equipment to go for and what to avoid. First off, Kevin and the team provided a superb quote which put other installers to shame and this meant we could upgrade to a larger system. We had super service and installation work from each one of the team after they pre-certified the installation and confirmed we were good to go. We installed high end equipment from Sigenergy and Perlight PVs. The Sigenergy app is brilliant with real time performance and AI management. The combined battery and inverter unit is fully modular and has a clean design. We're very happy with the PV production during October on overcast and sunny days and can cover our energy demand during daylight hours and have the battery storage for evenings and mornings. Perfect so far. There is a lot of competition out there and hard sales tactics going on. Really, don't sign up with anyone else till you've spoken to EB Solar.
